Mock Parliament
The Mock Parliament was successfully conducted at IZM BHS, providing students with a practical platform to experience democratic decision-making. Students actively presented, discussed, and voted on key resolutions related to school functioning and student welfare.
Mother’s Day Celebration
Mother’s Day was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm at IZM Boys High School, Yakutpura, in remembrance of the Wiladat-e-Hazrat Fatima Zehra (SA). Students of Classes 6 to 9, including Bridge Classes, actively participated, making the event meaningful and memorable. The programme reflected excellent planning, seamless coordination, and beautiful decorations, complemented by well-rehearsed student performances.
A heartfelt skit highlighted the importance, love, and sacrifices of mothers, while the recitation of Qur’anic Ayats and sayings of the Masoomeen (AS) emphasized their elevated status in Islam. Special focus was given to the teachings and exemplary life of Hazrat Fatima Zehra (SA), inspiring students to imbibe values of respect, patience, devotion, and gratitude.
The event was graced by Maulana Murtuza Sahab, Director, Ethos, whose inspiring address motivated both students and mothers to cherish and honor mothers’ blessings. Prizes were awarded for greeting cards and the Noor-e-Zehra Quiz, creating joyful and memorable moments for all.
Noor-e-Zehra (s.a.) Quiz
The Noor-e-Zehra (s.a.) quiz was successfully conducted at IZM BHS on 11th December 2025 in the BHS Auditorium. The event was thoughtfully organized with the objective of enriching students’ knowledge and deepening their understanding of the life, virtues, titles, and teachings of Janab-e-Fatima Zehra (s.a.).
All four houses—Hope House, Wisdom House, Justice House, and Peace House—participated with great enthusiasm and spirit. The quiz was conducted in five engaging and intellectually stimulating rounds, designed to assess both subject knowledge and presence of mind.
Endeavour Testing Camp
A specialised assessment camp was organised at IZM, BHS, where experts from the Thakur Hari Prasad Institute of Research and Rehabilitation conducted Endeavour Testing for a selected group of students. This comprehensive evaluation aimed to understand students’ cognitive, academic, and functional skill levels. The results highlighted several areas that require immediate attention, as a considerable number of students found it challenging to complete basic tasks expected at their grade level. The assessment has provided valuable insights for teachers and parents, emphasising the need for focused intervention strategies to support students more effectively in their learning journey.
Bachpan se Bunyad Session
The school successfully conducted the Bachpan se Bunyad – Parent Counselling Programme. The session focused on strengthening the foundation of parenting practices and enhancing child development through guidance rooted in values, understanding, and effective communication.

Around 100 parents attended the programme and expressed their appreciation for the valuable insights shared by the speakers.
Constitution Day
The Constitution Day programme was conducted smoothly with active participation from students and teachers. The Constitution Day event successfully highlighted the importance of the Indian Constitution. The activities helped students understand values like rights, responsibilities, and national pride. The programme concluded positively with patriotic spirit.
World Urdu Day
IZM Boys High School, Yakutpura celebrated World Urdu Day with great enthusiasm and cultural spirit. Students from Classes C1 to C9 and NIOS actively participated in the 1 hour 30-minute programme, making the event vibrant and memorable.
The programme was graced by Chief Guest Janab Mohammed Ali Wafa, a renowned poet of Hyderabad, along with Mir Shujath Ali, Head of the Urdu Department. Their presence added grace, depth, and inspiration to the celebration.
Field Trip to Govt. Blind School
The Class 8 students visited the Government Blind School, Darulshifa, as a part of their experiential learning program connected to the Telugu chapter “Spoorthy.” The field trip was conducted in two shifts to ensure all students had an enriching and interactive experience.
Teachers accompanying the students also interacted with the school faculty, discussing various teaching methods, support systems, and ways to create an inclusive environment for blind students. They shared meaningful explanations on how to extend empathy, assistance, and encouragement to visually challenged learners.
Cyber Crime Awareness Camp
A Cyber Crime Awareness Camp was conducted in the IZM Boys School, Yakutpura Auditorium by the officers of Rein Bazar Police Station. The programme focused on educating students about online gambling, cyber frauds, and safe digital practices.
Students from Classes 9 and 10 of both the Boys School and Girls School attended the session. The programme was informative, engaging, and helped students understand the seriousness of cyber safety.
Storytelling Competition
A Storytelling Competition was conducted for students of Classes PP1 and PP2. Children participated class-wise with great enthusiasm, showcasing confidence, creativity, and expressive communication.
Students came dressed in attractive costumes, used engaging props, and performed with lively dramatisation. A variety of stories both from their textbooks and general collections were presented, reflecting their imagination and storytelling ability.
To appreciate and encourage their efforts participation certificates were awarded to all students. Class-wise prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place were given based on expression, presentation, and overall performance.
Fun Day Painting Activity
The Fun Day Painting Activity was a vibrant and joyful experience for our PP1 and PP2 students IZM Boys School, Yakutpura. Little hands dipped into bright colours as children eagerly explored the magic of painting. Their eyes sparkled with excitement as they mixed shades, created patterns, and expressed their imagination with confidence.
Drama on the Life Incidents of Bahlul Dana (R.A)
IZM Boys School, Yakutpura, students of Class 8 performed an impactful and engaging drama based on an important life incident of Bahlul Dana (R.A). The skit depicted the famous interaction between Bahlul Dana and Abu Hanifa, wherein Bahlul Dana—through wisdom, wit, and humour—beautifully conveyed that the teachings of Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S) are flawless and can never be challenged.
South Zone Cycle Rally
IZM Boys School, Yakutpura, was invited by the SHO of Rein Bazar Police Station to participate in the South Zone Cycle Rally organised in remembrance of Police Martyrs — upholding the legacy of service and sacrifice.
The students actively participated in the rally after offering Namaz-e-Fajr, displaying great enthusiasm, discipline, and respect for the noble cause.
Public Awareness Programme – Essay Writing Competition
Students of IZM Boys School actively participated in the Public Awareness Programme organised to educate youth about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the crucial role of the police in prevention.
The programme included an Essay Writing Competition on the above topic, conducted in three languages — Telugu, Urdu, and English.
The top three winners were awarded by the SHO of Rein Bazar Police Station, Netaji, and consolation prizes were distributed to other deserving participants.
Rhymes Recitation Competition – Pre-Primary
The Pre Primary Section organized Rhymes Recitation Competition for students of Class: Nursery to UKG,
The event aimed to enhance kids’ pronunciation, memory skills, and stage confidence, while also making children learn with fun and joy.
The children participated enthusiastically in both Solo and Group rhyme recitation. Their lively performance , clear pronunciation, and charming actions created a cheerful atmosphere and left the audience delighted.
Inter-House Essay Writing Competition
Theme: “Sacrifice for Truth: From Karbala to India’s Independence”
Powerful ideas, clear structure, originality of thought, and language accuracy were the key judging parameters. Students wrote with maturity on sacrifice, truth, and justice—connecting Karbala’s legacy to India’s freedom struggle.
Blue Day – Pre-Primary
Our tiny tots had a wonderful time celebrating BlueDay. The entire day was filled with excitement, learning, and visual delight as the children came dressed in shades of blue and carried blue-themed objects. It was a day to remember, helping them identify the color blue in an engaging and memorable way.
Green Day – Pre-Primary
Green Day was celebrated with great excitement and joyful learning by the students of Nursery to Grade 1. The day aimed to create awareness about the color green and its presence in nature, while also engaging students in hands-on learning. The celebration began with a special assembly, where students enjoyed a fun and educational colour mixing activity, discovering how yellow and blue combine to make green.
Gratitude day
Gratitude Day was observed with great enthusiasm and positivity across the IZM Boys High School. The celebration began with a Special Assembly, where Moulana Mahfuz Sahab addressed the students on the importance of thanking the Almighty and showing appreciation in daily life.
Doctors Day
The Doctor’s Day Celebration at IZM BHS was held on 1st July 2025 with great enthusiasm and purpose. To mark this special occasion and honour the service of medical professionals, a dedicated team of doctors from Jafferiya Hospital was invited to the campus.
Field Trip – Birla Science Museum
Students of IZM Boys High School Yakutpura visited B.M. Birla Science Museum as part of an educational field trip. The visit included explorations of the Science Centre, Dinosaurium, and the Nirmala Birla Gallery of Modern Art, offering an engaging and interactive experience beyond the classroom.
History Hunt – Inter-House Quiz Competition
History Hunt quiz, the first Inter-House competition of the academic year, was organized with great enthusiasm by the Social Science Department, the event brought together the four houses in a thrilling battle of historical knowledge and quick thinking.The atmosphere was charged with excitement and house spirit as each team showcased their preparation and teamwork.
Justice House emerged victorious, claiming the winner’s title with confidence and composure.
Yellow Day
Yellow day was celebrated at IZM Boys High School Yakutpura Hyderabad. Exciting games and engaging art activities were thoughtfully planned for the students, sparking their creativity and curiosity.
Tablets has been distributed to 10th Standard students. A glitter has come on their faces. They have started taking care of the tablets and their overall behavior has improved. The opinion of the teachers and principal has changed, after observing the students and now there is confidence and hope for overall improvement.
Mr. Saibaba Secretary Sports Coaching Foundation (SCF) Addressing the Students regarding the Importance of sports and also donated the sports equipments on 18th June 2019
