Mr. Akbar Ali Kasimali Virjee is a commerce graduate from the famous Nizam College of Hyderabad in the year 1980. A Law Graduate from Mumbai University in the year 1983.

He has also completed Intermediate level of Cost and Works accountancy from the Institute of Costs and Works Accountants, Calcutta in the year 1984-85.

His economic activities include Stock Investments, Mutual Fund management (equity and debt funds – dividend and growth plan). He is also engaged in investing in real estate. He is a sole proprietor of M/s. H.A.Virjee Associates (a financial consultancy firm).

He has served the community from 2011 till date as a member of Imam e Zamana Education Society (IZES) and from June 2017 till date as a member of Imam e Zamana Mission (IZM). He served as Hon. President & Chairman Education Committee of both Imam e Zamana Mission and Imam e Zamana Education Society from May 2018 to Sept. 2023

He is life member of Khoja Shia Asna Ashari Jamat and Khoja Ithna Ashiri Welfare. He is a senior volunteer with Association of Imam Mahdi(atfs) since more than 23 years. This organization is engaged in imparting religious education in vast number of locations, all over India.
